Morning Devotion Reflections

Identity in Christ - (Galatians 2:20)

Day 7: Living From Love, Not For Approval - Galatians 2:20d

Scripture of the Day: “…who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Reflection: As Paul closes this profound statement of identity, he returns to the unshakable foundation: Christ’s love. This is not the love of a distant deity but of the One who “gave Himself” willingly, sacrificially, and completely and He did it for you.

Many people spend their entire lives chasing approval of parents, peers, society, or even God. The fear of not being good enough can drive performance, anxiety, and even religious activity. But the gospel says this: You don’t need to perform to be loved. You are loved, and that love is what gives you identity and purpose. This understanding changes everything.
